The Birth of a Revolution

Can you feel it ?

Krimson Kawaii emerged from a collision of passion, rebellion, and uncompromising vision. Founded in November 2023 by French creator and manager Kly, the band officially launched in September 2024, but its roots run deeper—back to August 2023, when the concept first took shape.

This is not just a band. This is a statement.

The Members

Yuki - Lead Vocals & Guitar
A vocalist with exceptional range, Yuki struggled to fit into Japan's rigid idol industry. Too free-spirited, too untamed for the manufactured perfection demanded of pop stars, she found her true voice in the raw power of nu-metal.

Aiko - Bass
Once a violin prodigy crushed under family pressure, Aiko abandoned classical perfection for the visceral punch of the bass. She lived as a session bassist, finding freedom in anonymity—until Krimson Kawaii gave her a place to truly belong.

Hana - Drums
Former sukeban and gang leader in Shibuya, Hana has always been a force of nature. When her family's criminal ties became unbearable, she left everything behind. Now her fury finds release through thunderous drumming.

Rio - Lead Guitar
The only French member of the group, Rio came to Japan as a hopeful exchange student, only to be betrayed by false love. Too proud to admit defeat, she survived as a Toyoko Kid on Tokyo's streets, where she met Hana. Together, they built something stronger than survival—they built a future.

Kuroko - Electric Tsugaru-Shamisen (joined August 2025)
A prodigy of the traditional tsugaru-shamisen, Kuroko joined Krimson Kawaii as an act of defiance against the established order. Her electric shamisen brings a haunting, mystical dimension to the band's sound—a bridge between ancient tradition and modern chaos.

The Sound

Krimson Kawaii fuses nu-metal brutality with J-pop melody, trash metal aggression, and hip-hop swagger. Imagine Korn meeting Maximum the Hormone in a Tokyo back alley, with Nemophila and Hanabie watching from the shadows. Then add Kuroko's electric shamisen cutting through it all like a blade.

This is kawaii metal reimagined—not cute for cute's sake, but a dangerous balance between sugar and fire. One wrong move and the whole thing collapses. But that's the thrill.

Recognition & Distribution

In February 2025, Krimson Kawaii earned YouTube's Official Artist Channel (OAC) certification, a mark of professional-grade audio quality. The band is distributed worldwide via DistroKid across all major streaming platforms.

A Word From The Creator

"I created Krimson Kawaii with the belief that music belongs to everyone. At first, I had no clear vision—just a cool concept and some tracks. But then it became wilder, larger than expected. I started to feel something much larger, something i never tought. My idea, my concept becoming reality and thoses girls became my new life, my new goal, make them the best of the best no matter the cost.

Each song I compose isn't just about hitting the right notes—it's about asking, 'Can Yuki hit this note? Can Hana handle this double kick? Is Rio ready for this solo?' I compose for their personalities, not just for sound.

I know I'm walking on eggshells. Kawaii metal is BRUTALLY hard to balance. It demands precision—too sweet and it's saccharine, too heavy and it loses the charm. And yes, without traditional live shows, we face skepticism. But maybe that's the point—to reinvent the genre, to offer a new perspective.

Krimson Kawaii is four—no, five—incredible women who refuse to play by the rules. They exist to tear down expectations, to prove that spirit transcends form. I didn't just create them. I gave them a mission: to rise so high that one day, people will say, 'Yeah, Babymetal was great. But Krimson Kawaii? That was another level.'"

SAKURA YUKI

Lead Vocals & Guitar | Founder

Personality

Yuki exists between two worlds—not out of conflict, but by choice. She honors tradition while refusing to be confined by it. One morning, she'll perform a traditional tea ceremony in a kimono; by afternoon, she's screaming defiance into a microphone, channeling the raw fury and passion of Japan's youth. She doesn't reject her roots—she reinvents them.

Backstory

Yuki entered an idol training school at a very young age, quickly rising through backup roles to front-stage performances. Her voice—both devastatingly powerful and hauntingly pure—set her apart immediately. But the industry that discovered her also exploited her.

Her parents signed her to an agency that cared nothing for her well-being, only profit. A manager made repeated advances while she was still a minor. Disgusted and trapped by abusive contracts, Yuki fought her way out—armed with undeniable evidence against her abuser. To avoid scandal, the agency released her quietly. But the cost was high: she was blacklisted from mainstream shows and opportunities.

Later, while wandering Tokyo's streets, she encountered two wild, defiant girls playing music and dodging police. That chance meeting became the foundation of Krimson Kawaii—a band where no one would ever exploit her again.

FUJIMOTO AIKO

Bass | The Gentle Fury

Personality

Aiko is the sweetest, gentlest member of Krimson Kawaii—until she's not. Beneath her kind exterior lies a darker side that can erupt into devastating fury. Her bass playing is powerful, technical, and relentless. She pours everything into proving that bass isn't just background noise—it's a band's ultimate weapon.

Backstory

Born into Japan's upper-class elite, Aiko grew up in a world where appearances mattered more than well-being. Her family groomed her to become a world-class violinist, forcing her through soulless evening lessons and exhausting practice sessions. While she loved the violin, the rigid expectations suffocated her.

Harassed by family pressure and social conventions, Aiko found her escape: the electric bass. It represented everything she truly was—a virtuoso overflowing with raw energy. She left home early, surviving on session work with dead-end bands. During one lifeless gig at a Tokyo live house, she met someone who would change everything: a woman who offered her a place in a band that would understand her, never judge her, and let her unleash everything she'd been forced to suppress.

KUROKAWA HANA

Drums | The Backbone

Personality

Hana is the Swiss Army knife the world needs—funny, endearing, and fiercely protective of those she loves. Her upbringing taught her to wield strength with grace. While she prefers staying in the shadows, she's the unshakable backbone that holds Krimson Kawaii together.

Backstory

"You don't choose your birth family, but you can create a new one."

That's Hana's philosophy. Her biological family was anything but clean or respectable. From a young age, she saw police more often than her own father. Dragged from house to apartment to foster home, she had every reason to spiral—but she clung to hope for a better tomorrow.

By 16, she spent more time on the streets than in school, which taught her nothing she needed. Watching a music show one day, she discovered drums—an instrument that could finally express who she truly was: a girl full of dreams. Living on the streets, she drummed on everything she could find, teaching herself by watching and imitating her idols online.

Everything changed when she met a fiery foreigner. They formed an incredible duo, which eventually caught the attention of a singer. Together, they became Krimson Kawaii.

R. RIO

Lead Guitar | The Wanderer

Personality

Rio is a walking contradiction—never quite feeling like she belongs, yet always knowing exactly where to go and who to trust. She's the ultimate friend, present even in the darkest moments. Part big sister, part mentor, Rio never says anything she doesn't mean. She acts on instinct, not overthinking. Her guitar speaks for her—and she wouldn't have it any other way.

Backstory

Rio was born in western France, a sailor's daughter with her feet planted firmly on the ground but her spirit forever wandering. She picked up guitar at six years old, and music became her language.

Her family was present, but she needed more. Through the internet, she fell in love with a young Japanese man. Overnight, she left everything behind and flew to Japan—the land of the rising sun and new beginnings.

Reality was cruel. After two weeks, the man abandoned her—stealing what little money she had and breaking her heart. Humiliated and homeless, Rio ended up on Tokyo's streets with other lost youth, surviving day by day, playing music wherever she could.

She forged a deep friendship with another street musician, and together they clawed their way up, playing small gigs for struggling bands. Then one day, she crossed paths with a singer named Yuki, who was captivated by her playing. The rest, as they say, is history.

ITÔ KUROKO

Electric Tsugaru-Shamisen | The Storm

Personality

If the storm had a name, it would be Kuroko. This young woman is a maelstrom unto herself. Beneath a gentle, fragile appearance lies primal fire. Mannered and polite to please others, she hides her true nature—but make no mistake: when it comes to music and those she loves, Kuroko is an assassin. She can be warm and loving one moment, dark and defiant the next.

Backstory

Little is known about Kuroko's past. Born in Gifu Prefecture, she was immersed in music from an early age, becoming obsessed with traditional instruments—especially the shamisen. But traditional compositions bored her. Refusing to abandon the instrument's incomparable sound, she turned to tsugaru-shamisen—more rhythmic, more percussive. She trained relentlessly until she found the sound she was searching for.

Then one day, she discovered an electrified shamisen. Everything changed. The "Kuroko style" was born: tsugaru-shamisen with a schizophrenic, electrified edge. She gained local success, but it was during an audition for an emerging kawaii nu-metal band that she unleashed her full power. She gave that band a new sound, a fresh start—but never imposed her vision. She was simply there. That was enough.
